About Us

Background

My education includes an MBA with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting. I have been Enrolled to Practice before the IRS since 1995. Additionally, I am involved with the IRS / EDD Outreach program to business in assisting them in the proper classification of workers and payroll tax compliance. In the past two years, I have completed my series 6, 63 and 65 securities licenses as well as my State of California Insurance License. The Series 65 license allows be to practice as an Investment Advisor Representative.

I completed my three year program in the National Tax Practice Institute (NTPI) in 2010 and as a result am a “Fellow” in the NTPI. The National Tax Practice Institute (NTPI®) teaches enrolled agents and other Circular 230 practitioners how to represent their clients. Representation requires expertise in the tax code as well as knowledge of the system and how it works. Clients deserve the best defense possible, and this requires continual education and review, as well as a robust network of expert colleagues who are willing to offer advice and assistance as needed.

I am currently President of the Orange County Society of Enrolled Agents (OCEA). OCEA is the largest group of Enrolled Agents in the State, as well as the Nation. We have over 400 Enrolled Agents as members of OCEA. I am proud to be the President of this group.
